It's time to grab your camera because the bluebonnets in Ennis are blooming along the trails! Stop by or call the Ennis Welcome Center at (972) 878-4748  for the most up-to-date recommendations along the trail. 

Must see locations:

Intersection of Cut Off Road and 1181

If you're looking for a field of Bluebonnets, you need to head to the intersection of Cutoff Road and 1181. This is private property, so please do not get out of your car to take photos.

Mr.Holy's Field | Intersection of 1181 and Frank Holy Road

This property is privately owned, but Mr.Holy occasionally lets visitors take pictures. Please be mindful of Mr.Holy and look for signage welcoming you onto his land before you enter. 

Meadow View Nature Area | 1901 Laneview Drive

Meadow View Nature Area is at peak bloom and is currently the #1 stop along the trails! You can get out of your car and take pictures in the fields of bluebonnets.

Alsdorf Road

If you are looking for a field of bluebonnets, drive by Alsdorf Road! This is the perfect scenic drive - please do not stop on Alsdorf Road.

Walkers Run Road

 Walkers Run Road is the perfect place to drive by a field of Bluebonnets, Walkers Run Road  is the perfect place to drive by!
